Christian Steinhof has been appointed head of the newly created corporate communications department at CTS Eventim.

He joins from German conglomerate Bertselsmann (BMG, RTL, Penguin Random House), where he was spent more than a decade and was most recently press officer/vice-president of media relations.

The new department has been created “in line with the ongoing strategic development at Europe’s leading company for ticketing and live entertainment”, reads a statement from Munich-headquartered Eventim.

“Under Steinhof’s leadership, I’m sure that our communication will make a significant contribution to the success of our company”

“I’m very glad that Christian Steinhof, an acknowledged expert in communication, is joining us,” comments CTS Eventim CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg, to whom Steinhof will report directly. “He has many years of experience in PR, comprehensive knowledge of the industry and is highly enthusiastic about CTS Eventim and our range of services.

“Under his leadership, I’m sure that our communication will make a significant contribution to the success of our company.”

CTS Eventim has begun 2017 with a renewed focus on its concerts business, acquiring Alex Richter’s Four Artists and launching new venture Vaddi Concerts, headed up by ex-Koko director Marc Oßwald.
